Grilling Night

Steak,Kabobs,Pineapple,Potatoes

Steak,Kabobs,Pineapple,Potatoes

I was in a steak mood when I woke up this morning. I had lots of good produce in the fridge to draw from to make one DEElicious dinner! I have more on my plate in terms of work that needs to get done, than there are hours in the day, so tonight’s blog post is going to be a tour of the tasty treats that we prepared tonight and a reminder to post a comment telling me what you would do with two chicken breasts. They can be boneless, bone in, skin on or skin off, boiled, broiled, roasted, grilled, fried, poached or any other way you’d like to share with us.

More Hot Pepper Jelly

I was busy canning another batch of red pepper jelly tonight for a loyal Justopia.com viewer that made the request last week. I didn’t want to put it off, so as soon as I returned from my afternoon out, I headed to the kitchen with my bag of Whole Foods goodies for tonight’s dinner and began prepping the jalapeƱos and bell peppers and got the jelly going. We’ll have photos tomorrow.

Time to Pack Up the Moving Van and a Different Sunday Dinner

Moving

No! I am not moving. I have big moving news though. I spent most of the day working on a move of the blog with help from a JTV fan and Justopia viewer. For all the wacked weirdness on JTV, there are so many wonderful people I’ve had the opportunity to come in contact with and as in today’s offer of help, there are so many people that are willing to assist.

This Week's Name that Exotic Food Prize

The full gallery of this week’s mystery food for the Name that Exotic Food contest can be found at the Cheftopia blog site.

The other day, regular viewer and Justopia Cooks participant, Tenten was telling us about how he came home from work and noticed his neighbor’s front door open and how he called the police and that they checked things out and found nothing worrisome. But then the next day Tenten, or 1010 or DimeDime as some affectionately refer to him (we think Tenten is male) told us that the neighbors dogs were outside not being attended to.

A Few of My Favorite Things

Tools of the Trade and a Plug for Justopia.com

A night of cooking fun in Justopia doesn’t go by without the use of one of my favorite kitchen tools. I thought I’d bring out a few of tools I have in my drawers or in the bain marie that holds spatulas and ladles and rasps and more so that you don’t have to go another night without a post from the Justopian kitchen.

Relief

Huevos Rancheros Justopia Style

Huevos Rancheros Justopia Style

As I noted in yesterday’s post, I was worried. I was wringing my hands about the season finale of The Next Food Network Star because one of the finalists was going to be doing a pilot of a show where he cooked “live on the internet.”

I was worried that it would be so great that the network would be clamoring to make it a show and … well, you can read about my fears in Saturday’s post right here in What Do I Do Now??!!

Viewer Count Info

Long after I finished broadcasting my playlists were showing on the JTV home page

We’ve talked about this before, but after seeing a blurb on a blog about “faked viewer counts” I thought it was worth another visit.

So, it goes like this — there are rooms with lots of viewers at one time. Most of the rooms with very large viewer counts are those broadcasting professional sports or first run movies or something you wouldn’t want your child watching, but on those occasions when a broadcaster is put into the Featured box on the Justin.tv welcome screen the viewer count can go very high.
