Broken Theme

I popped into WordPress after work to look around and see what was going on and noticed that my blog appears to be broken. I am not sure if it’s the theme or some other reason, but I did not plan to publish anything tonight. I thought I’d try a short blurb to see if that may help to fix what is broken. If not, I am going to need to find a WordPress theme I like as much as the current one and hope that a change fixes things.

No photos, no words, a day off in the life of a Justopian.

A Kitchen Disaster

What is that?!

What is that?!

Chicken Picatta, Israeli Couscous and Eggplant-Mozzarella Sandwiches

I’ll tell you what it’s not. It’s not this week’s Name that Exotic Food! Nope. And it’s not charcoal. I can’t have a charcoal fire up here, remember? Speaking of this week’s Name that Exotic Food contest, we will hold the contest on Friday when I am next broadcasting.

Huevos Rancheros Justopia Style

As I noted in yesterday’s post, I was worried. I was wringing my hands about the season finale of The Next Food Network Star because one of the finalists was going to be doing a pilot of a show where he cooked “live on the internet.”

I was worried that it would be so great that the network would be clamoring to make it a show and … well, you can read about my fears in Saturday’s post right here in What Do I Do Now??!!

Lime-Nectarine-Mascarpone-Ginger Snap Tart

Wow! My heart skipped a beat this morning and then it sank. I was surfing around, checking my blog stats, reading mail and just generally idling the morning away when I had a real shock. One of today’s comments alerted me to the fact that one of the contestant’s on the season finale of The Next Food Network Star tomorrow night will be presenting his show online! He’ll be cooking for an online audience. At least that’s the way I understand it.

Pasta al Pesto, Ensalada Caprese and Canellini Beans with Pancetta and Bread Crumbs

I’ve been so out of the world and everything that’s going on around me that I didn’t realize one of my all time favorite television shows was coming back for a 2nd season until I saw a brief flash about it on the AOL Welcome Screen yesterday morning.

An Apple a Week, and A Wonderful Surprise!

Busy

Dragon Fruit

Dragon Fruit

When I get a day off in the middle of the week, it ends up being a day for errands. That being said, I did not pay any attention to JTV and I didn’t give my dinner much thought either. I went to the Apple store to attend an iMovie workshop, but as I suspected, it was too elementary. I’ve put plenty of videos together, but I need help with editing and that was not covered in the 1 hour long session this afternoon. I joined the One to One program and will schedule my first session for next week. You are allowed one session per week each week for a year for $99! It’s individual training for an hour each week if you want!

I Flipped and Went to Tokyo

The Postman Commeth

Yaay for the Flip! Thank you iJustine!!

No, pceasy and ECV had nothing to do with the arrival of my shiny new FlipVideo. While I know they’d like to take credit for getting iJustine to get to the post office to get the camera in the mail, the truth is that it was put in the mail a day before they posted their schtick on Utterz. Justine sent me a message just a little while ago telling me she was in the post office for an hour mailing out treats to people.
