What a Long Strange Trip it’s Been

I spent the day traveling and have finally arrived at my destination. Not refreshed and relaxed — which doesn’t bode well for morning interviews, but hell, I can deal. This is what life’s all about right? The ups and the downs and the good and the bad? It’s just too bad no one let Justin and the frat boys and girl in on this very important secret in life. It’s not going to be easy, success doesn’t come just for wishing for it and the most important thing — you have to work your ass off to realize success. I don’t care if it’s getting an A in Social Studies class or launching a start up that takes the world by storm. It’s about sweat and discomfort and yes, sometimes complete angst and agony. But in the end, if you manage to put all the pieces together, keep the emotions out of it, that pie in the sky dream can be accomplished and it will all have been worth it.

Now that I’ve exhaused my “give em’ hell Harry” cheering them on monologue, I’ve exhausted myself. It’s after 2am here and I have to be up in the morning … not taking my time getting up when I want and logging in to see what’s not happening at JTV. Sorry, no photos tonight. When I get back home I will get back to the more “normal” Justopian blogging.

Keep on truckin’ 🙂 For those of you tots that have no idea what I am referring to — Grateful Dead, “Truckin’ ”

Sometimes the light’s all shinin’ on me;
Other times, I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me …
What a long, strange trip it’s been.
