Why I Live in Justopia

I’m a woman, young at heart who is compelled to check out the new Next Big Thing. Once I saw the piece about the 23 year old Yale Grad broadcasting his life 24/7 via webcam strapped to a hat air on the local Washington, DC nightly news channel I didn’t stop for a moment before surfing over to Justin.tv. And since that day, I’ve been here enjoying my leisurely days tuning in to see what the next big thing is going to be. Some days are totally predictable, while others get you psyched for whatever is on the schedule — even though we Justopians know that no appointments will ever begin on time and that the frat house will never be truly clean and that no real effort to display any actual enthusiasm will ensue.

For those of us who have found ourselves increasingly drawn to this not yet always on 24/7 marvel of modern technology, I remain intrigued enough to spend way too much time absorbed in Justin.tv. This is my severance plan strategy and JTV has been a tremendous help to me keeping my goals of not letting my money leak out of the bank and not wandering out to the stores and contributing to the local economy.
