DEEliciousness!
It was a strange day. The weather was wet and windy as Hannah blew through on her trek north. I walked to the store as the rain started to whip up and was pretty wet by the time I arrived at the store 5 minutes later. My ran jacket doesn’t do much to keep the water off of me, but I didn’t mind
The wind and rain picked up throughout the day, but the customers didn’t. We were happy to see each one however, and since we were spending time at the cooktop, we invited them to indulge in a wide variety of food:
- Spiced Pumpkin Pancakes with Maple Pecan Butter done on the All Clad electric griddle
- Roasted New Potatoes with Olive Oil and Grilling Salts
- Grilled Cheese made with fresh bread done in the Cuisinart bread maker with Williams-Sonoma Tomato/Basil sauce and cheddar cheese.
Most loved what they tasted and jars of sauce and seasonings and tins of pancake mix went out the door.
But in between the few customers that came in, it was a quiet day, fairly relaxing for a change
I came home and decided it was time for an Asian meal. I hadn’t had one all week and was craving something from the East.
Tonight’s choice? Stir Fried Beef with red bell peppers, zucchini, onions and lots of cilantro.
And on the side …. soba noodles with a soy-mirin-ginger dressing.
Doesn’t this make your mouth water?!
It should/.
